ASPICE
Automotive SPICE under the PATHFINDER certification scheme for organizational maturity evaluates the quality and process competences as well as the organizational maturity of software service providers for automotive manufacturers. The Automotive SPICE initiative includes car manufacturers such as Audi, BMW, Daimler Chrysler, Fiat, Ford, Jaguar, Land Rover, Volkswagen, and Volvo. Although the Automotive SPICE initiative is largely by European automotive manufacturers, it is gaining acceptance by the companies in the US and Japan.
ISO 9001:2008
ISO Certification represents an international consensus on good management practices with the aim of ensuring that the organization can deliver the product or services that meet the client's quality requirements. These good practices have been distilled into a set of standardized requirements for a quality management system, regardless of what the organization does, its size, or whether it's in the private, or public sector. The ISO 90001 addresses "Quality Management". This means what the organization does to fulfill, the customer's quality requirements, and applicable regulatory requirements, while aiming to enhance customer satisfaction, and achieve continual improvement of its performance in pursuit of these objectives
ISO 27001
The certification provides 133 controls that are useful in establishing, maintaining, measuring and monitoring a robust information security management system. ISO 27001assists companies to comply with multiple legislations and regulations such as HIPAA, SOX, Safe Harbour Practice, etc. It also helps companies to win confidence of employees who want their employers to maintain secrecy regarding their personal data
SEI CMMI Level 5
CMMI provides Improved visibility into software engineering activities, assists in capturing and leveraging best practices in areas like engineering, project management, communications, supplier management .It supports continuous upgrades to more robust and high maturity practices .CMMI provides advantages of cost, time and quality Effective management of engineering activities in line with business objectives .CMMI guarantees effective management of project risks to make the right decisions, manage project quantitatively, evaluate the process performances, identify and deploy innovations and eliminate known issues.
Six Sigma
Six Sigma is a quality improvement initiative that seeks to improve process performance by reducing variation leading to:
- Greater predictability in the process
- Less waste and rework, lowering costs
- Products and services that perform better and last longer
- Happier customers
Six Sigma has a target of operating with no more than 3.4 defects for every million activities or "opportunities".
Five years into the Six Sigma program, and with projects executed in key process areas like business development, project management, resource utilization and training, we are seeing enhanced efficiencies, sustainable process improvements and substantial cost savings.
