In addition to developing its own reference design, NeST has partnerships with major hardware vendors as well as middleware providers. NeST has developed its own value added services and applications on top of these middleware to provide total solutions to its customers.

NeST provides value to its clientele by providing a single window for all requirements related to Hybrid Set Top Box and similar technologies. A customer need not approach multiple vendors for development of a Hybrid Set Top Box. NeST will critically analyze all the requirements, and provide the customer with a number of custom options of hardware, middleware and applications enabling them to make a well informed decision. NeST will be the single point of contact for the customer. NeST will co-ordinate with all the vendors and ensure the timely delivery of the product.

NeST offers the shortest timeframe for time-to-market, from initial requirements analysis to development to production. Design, development and production undergo the following phases.

The Hybrid STB being developed by NeST for a major telecom player is a Set-top-Box with DVB-S2 and IPTV connectivity. The services provided are Free-to-air as well as pay-TV on the DVB side and value-added applications on the IP side.
